Lazy Texan Hot Onion Chicken Casserole

Ingredients:

4 cups cooked chopped chicken

2 cans cream of chicken soup

1 (16 oz) container of sour cream

1 Lazy Texan Hot Onion Dip

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

12 ounces egg noodles

1 can crushed French Fried Onions

Directions:

Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions.  Drain and set aside.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Lightly spray a 9″ x 13″ baking dish with cooking spray.

In a Large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, Lazy Texan Hot Onion Dip, sour cream and cheddar cheese.  When well mixed, add the chopped chicken and mix well.  Last, stir in the egg noodles and mix throughly.  Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with crushed French Fried Onions.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until completely heated.

Lazy Texan Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh shrimp, deveined and shelled
  • 1-2 jalapenos.
  • thin cut bacon
  • Lazy Texan Seasoning

Directions

Scrape out seeds in jalapenos and cut length-wise into strips.

Holding a sliver of jalopeno next to a piece of shrimp, wrap with bacon.  Put onto skewers.  When the skewers are finished, sprinkle to taste with Lazy Texan Seasoning.

Grill over medium heat, cooking until the bacon is thoroughly done.

Lazy Texan Bacon Hot Dog Bites

Ingredients

  • 6 Beef Hot Dogs, cut into 3 pieces
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Lazy Texan Seasoning
  • 9 strips of thin bacon, cut in half

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and Lazy Texan Seasoning.

Wrap each hot dog piece with a strip of bacon.  Roll in brown sugar and Lazy Texan Seasoning mixture.

Put bites seam side down on baking sheet and put in over.  Turn once after 20 minutes.  Bake an additional 10 minutes, until bacon is thoroughly cooked.  Serve with toothpicks.

Judy’s Lazy Texan Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Lazy Texan Seasoning
  • 6 cups cooked chicken (chopped)
  • 8 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 2/3 cup orange-flavored sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1 cup chopped roasted, salted almonds
  • Garnishes if desired:  your choice of fresh herbs, blackberries, raspberries, sliced peaches, etc.

Directions

Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise and Lazy Texan Seasoning into large bowl until well blended.  Stir in chicken, pineapple, and cranberries.  Spoon mixture into a 8 inch round cake pan lined with plastic wrap.  Cover and chill at least 8 hours, or up to 24 hours.

Invert chicken salad onto a cake stand, and remove plastic wrap.  Gently press chopped almonds onto sides of chicken salad.  Garnish for that extra decorative flair.  Serve on crackers or bread.

Lazy Texan Hamburgers

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound hamburger meat
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Lazy Texan Seasoning

Directions

Combine onion, Worcestershire Sauce and Lazy Texan Seasoning.  Crumble hamburger over top, then gently combine.  Form into 6 patties.  They can be made ahead and refrigerated; or cooked immediately.  These are great pan-fried, broiled, or grilled.
